Terms of Service

Last updated: January 2026

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of the Entrepreneur Genie platform and participation in any Entrepreneur Genie programme. By applying to, enrolling in, or accessing any programme or platform feature, you agree to these terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

References to “Entrepreneur Genie”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refer to Entrepreneur Genie.

2. Programme enrolment

Submitting an application does not guarantee a seat. All applications are reviewed and acceptance is at the sole discretion of Entrepreneur Genie. You will be notified of acceptance or rejection within 5 working days of application submission.

Your seat is confirmed only upon receipt of your first payment (or full payment where applicable). We reserve the right to cancel a confirmed seat if payment is not received by the agreed date.

3. Payment terms

Programme fees are stated in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Payment plans are structured to the last working day of each month. Late payment may result in suspension of platform access until the outstanding amount is settled.

All payments are final. For our refund policy, see the Refund Policy.

4. Your obligations as a participant

As a programme participant, you agree to:

  • Attend all scheduled live sessions, or notify us in advance if you cannot attend
  • Complete all required deliverables by the stated deadlines
  • Conduct Customer Safari research in real markets with real people
  • Treat all other participants, coaches, and facilitators with respect
  • Keep all proprietary frameworks, tools, and materials confidential and not share them outside the programme
  • Not record, reproduce, or distribute live session content without written permission
  • Provide honest and complete information in all deliverables and exercises

5. Intellectual property

All Entrepreneur Genie frameworks, tools, templates, and course materials are the intellectual property of Entrepreneur Genie. You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use these materials for your own business during and after the programme. You may not sell, licence, or distribute these materials to third parties.

Your business idea, business model, and all deliverables you create remain your intellectual property. We claim no ownership over your business or ideas.

6. Community conduct

Our programme community spaces (WhatsApp groups, online community platform) are for participants who are actively enrolled or alumni of Entrepreneur Genie programmes. We reserve the right to remove any participant from community spaces for conduct that is disrespectful, harmful, or contrary to the spirit of the programme. Removal from community spaces does not entitle a refund.

7. Results and outcomes

We state target outcomes (such as “70% of participants generate first revenue within the programme”) based on our best projections for the founding cohort. These are targets, not guarantees. Your results depend on the effort you put in, the quality of your market research, and factors outside our control including market conditions. We do not guarantee any specific financial outcome from participation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Entrepreneur Genie is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your participation in our programmes or use of our platform. Our total liability to you in any circumstance is limited to the amount you paid for the programme in which the claim arose.

9. Programme changes

We reserve the right to modify programme content, schedules, and facilitators where necessary. We will provide reasonable notice of any material changes. Where a cohort must be cancelled by us (not the participant), we will offer a full refund or a deferred place in the next cohort at the participant’s option.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of South Africa, with jurisdiction agreed as Johannesburg.

11. Limitation of liability

Entrepreneur Genie provides educational programmes, advisory services, and frameworks. Results depend on individual effort, market conditions, and external factors beyond our control. We do not guarantee specific revenue outcomes, customer acquisition, or business success. By enrolling, you acknowledge that your results depend primarily on your own execution.

12. Intellectual property

All programme materials, frameworks, methodologies, and content are the intellectual property of Entrepreneur Genie (Pty) Ltd. Participants may use materials for their own business purposes but may not redistribute, resell, or repurpose programme content without written permission.
